ROLE SUMMARY:


The Warehouse Inventory Manager is responsible for ensuring all inventory (raw materials, WIP and finished goods) are properly tracked and recorded in the Company's inventory management system (Acumatica WMS). The Inventory manager will work with the inventory team to optimize and continuously implement best in practice inventory procedures around receiving and issuing inventory as well as daily count procedures using risk-based sampling techniques. The Inventory Manager will also work closely with the Supply Chain department to ensure we never have stock-outs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, has extensive experience with inventory management, and is comfortable working in ERP or Warehouse Management Systems. In order to be successful, they are a balanced team player with the ability to independently lead and guide projects forward in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment.

  • You are able to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly moving environment and successfully manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Implementing new processes and procedures
  • Ensuring inventory counts are accurate and reliable
  • Maintaining organization across warehouses
  • Managing weekly consumption to plan for material movement and warehousing optimization

WHAT YOU'VE DONE (QUALIFICATIONS):

  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous inventory management experience preferably in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Demonstrated excellence in setting up new processes and procedures
  • Extensive experience managing and reconciling inventory in a robust ERP or WMS system
  • Comfortable with navigating computer/software programs
  • Extensive experience with inventory counts and audits
  • Creative-minded and strong problem-solving ability

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Manage inventory receiving, prep and issuances
  • Manage daily cycle counts and annual full physical counts
  • Oversee inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels (utilize ERP as part of this process)
  • Evaluate deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures
  • Conduct daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures
  • Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain and logistics
  • Train and manage team of inventory control staff
