As the lead manager of the company’s consumer supply chain, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring we can deliver products to our patients across the Texas market, efficiently and effectively. You will have direct supervision of all scheduling and route optimization processes starting at order creation to the last mile delivery direct to the patient. Responsibilities of this role will include coordinating all inbound patient delivery orders and connecting order flow to our market route schedules and delivery driver resources. The person in this role will also be responsible for creating and implementing our distribution processes to our retail stores & fulfillment locations that expands our logistics capacity, while optimizing cost. This is a high visibility, cross-functional role, you’ll own organization-wide reporting of key metrics around all delivery functions to inform leadership and stakeholders. This position will report to the Head of Customer Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the enterprise-wide customer delivery network: This entails:

  • Daily / weekly / monthly route & schedule management

  • Allocation of resources by region

  • Delivery capacity demand planning

  • Build out of delivery KPIs and goals

  • Create and implement a distribution fulfillment network to supply products to a growing retail store and regional distribution network

  • Implementation of customer delivery standard operating procedures

  • Coordinating and supporting deliveries from beginning to end, serving as the expert for answering questions and solving problems related to deliveries

  • Actively manage our delivery driver team, capacity optimization, and enhance fleet maintenance communication with Safety Manager through proactive reporting

  • Always represent the Texas Original gold standard of service

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a logistics, distribution, or supply chain management role

  • Strong attention to detail, the vision of an air-traffic controller, and can coordinate and connect multiple work flows to generate a seamless operating process.

  • Experience or working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to communicate across multiple departments and teams

  • Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and workflow to ensure customer needs are met

  • Ability to effectively manage teams, delegate, and reallocate resources as needed

  • Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner.

  • Exceptional work ethic.

  • Exceptional computer skills in the operation and functioning of all programs used by the organization, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce

  • Task and goal oriented and capable of functioning in an entrepreneurial and corporate setting.

  • Able to prioritize and collaborate with multiple supervisors including the CRO and other Senior Executives.
