Monitor and measure sales activity and market data; providing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the management team
Maintain and analyze competitive market information through consistent data collection and analysis of various POS data systems.
Facilitate Demand Process to deliver an unbiased and unconstrained view of the demand to feed operational planning and the S&OP Process.
Identify & frame risks, opportunities and any critical business decisions and escalate up through the S&OP process to ensure timely decision making.
Work with supply chain to manage product allocation and give direction for grow, manufacturing and fulfilment priorities
Work with the Insights team to deliver ad hoc, weekly, monthly reports while building various tools to support business needs.
Support implementation of Sage and act as SME for Demand/ Sales Forecasting module
Strategy & Customer Planning
Work with the boards and top retail accounts to develop 12 months rolling sales forecast with High/ Med/ Low Scenarios
Manage allocation at National and Regional level to ensure supply is appropriately allocated based on organizational objectives
Support all recreational business relationships with daily operations, Inventory Management, turns and product supply.
Work with Innovation and Marketing teams to support forecasting of new innovations.
Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain teams to provide insights into business performance and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain retail data sources for analytical support for the Recreational Channel
Provide insights related to shipment /consumption/inventory in the market and implications to the latest Sales Forecast.

Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience in an insights/analytics function providing actionable insights to internal or external clients
Proven experience in forecasting consumption, revenue and sizing the market for existing portfolio and innovation launches
Experience dealing with multiple sources of internal/external, structured/unstructured data
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
Advanced user of MS office suite (excel: Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA)
Knowledge about promotional landscape and promotional optimization techniques.
Available to travel to company locations within the GTA
Must pass an RCMP security clearance
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to lift up to and including 25lbs, sit and/or stand for extended periods of time and reach with arms/hands. Walking, climbing stairs, standing, and moving items are occasionally required. The employee must wear the required PPE to complete their job functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to unprocessed cannabis products/supplies. The working environment can be noisy and dusty at times. In addition, to ensure compliance and minimize contamination within a controlled environment, the employees may be required to wear latex gloves a cleanroom suit.
