We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Senior Manager, Business Analytics & Intelligence.

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Senior Manager Business Analytics & Intelligence will be a key member of the commercial management team and will act as the main resource in providing important and ongoing performance metrics, deep-dive market analysis, company/industry revenue forecasting, and future industry outlook trends to the executive management team to help make day to day and mid to long-term strategic commercial decisions.

The successful candidate must have strong business acumen, an ability to analyze various market segments, a solid understanding of financial modeling and be comfortable presenting these findings at the "C" suite level. Previous experience working either in a regulated market or consumer-packaged goods industry is a strong asset for this role.

The incumbent would need to be a team player that thrives on working in a dynamic and ever evolving environment. Strong communication skills along with the ability to translate technical subjects into business-consumable insights and recommendations is required.

This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted position in which you will be responsible for both leading the business analytics for the commercial team along with delivering high quality and timely reports/analysis while utilizing sound methodologies, reporting, data management, and engaging with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and prioritize analytics projects to support decision-making across multiple commercial business units;
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of reports accompanied by documentation of assumptions, risks, and methodologies;
  • Leverage analytics competencies to uncover or seize new opportunities, build business cases, improve resource utilization and business performance related to growth in revenues, market share, patients, profitability, etc.;
  • Provide relevant analyses and recommendations to support commercial business units' information needs such as sales channel performance and planning, product, promotion, pricing, segmentation decisions;
  • Develop models and "what-if" scenarios to demonstrate options and potential impacts available to the Company;
  • Continuously improve on the design and development of sales channel analysis, reporting frameworks and KPIs for both Adult rec + medical markets extracting data from multiple sources;
  • Help define analytics and reporting requirements and lead testing of new reports and dashboards;
  • Work closely with external jurisdictional partners to oversee strategic analytics projects;
  • Interpret the results of complex analytics concepts and translate insights into action for management
  • Other duties as may be required.


  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business field;
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Data management systems such as Power BI;
  • Experience in regulated products industries preferred (e.g., Cannabis, Alcohol, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, or strong CPG experience);
  • 3+ years minimum work experience in analytics field in a related industry Proven track record of developing analytics talent and high performing teams;
  • Experience in analytics delivery and projects with a focus on sales and marketing functions;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous work streams and shift / adjust resources to achieve optimal results;
  • Experience working with external partners and supporting multiple stakeholders across the enterprise;
  • Sensitivity and awareness around the use of and sharing data;
  • Effectively worked in fast-paced, high growth environments with shifting priorities;
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment;
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • High level of detail orientation and focus on data accuracy;
  • Willingness to learn and adjust to new paradigms and processes as part of a new industry;
  • Strong adaptability to changing environments; juggle multiple projects and changes in priorities;
  • Experience working with unstructured datasets and disparate data sources;
  • Team player attitude.
