Farmer Jane Cannabis Co. is looking for our new President to lead our management team and business operations as we grow our footprint and establish our brand and presence throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This position will be responsible for establishing both short-term and long-term goals, overall strategic business planning and guiding our company operations to align with our vision and values. Providing leadership to the organization, the President holds all business operations accountable to the stakeholders while implementing policies and processes in order to shape Farmer Jane into a leading employer and cannabis retailer on the prairies.

The President will be a great communicator and team builder. They will also be responsible for financial oversight and effective allocation of resources across the organization. This position will be responsible for encouraging and leading community initiatives and involvement and will be a public facing position of the organization. The President requires an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt and pivot in the fluid and evolving legal cannabis landscape in Canada.

Qualities/Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire people to action and develop internal talent.
  • Must be innovative, with a clear vision of the future of the company with the ability to plan, strategize and execute that path.
  • Senior level management experience is required while knowledge and understanding of Retail and/or Cannabis markets and industries is a bonus.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills required to communicate with board members or directors, executives and frontline employees alike.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Thorough financial and operational knowledge as well as the ability to understand the regulations, policies and procedures that affect the organization.
