The Operations Manager will also oversee the development and daily operations of the facility for both the distribution and manufacturing space. We are seeking a confident and experienced individual who will report directly to the President and provide regular reports to the appropriate executive team members and Board of Directors.
Develop, oversee and execute all initiatives outlined on the master calendar.
Deliver results and strategic direction by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly throughout the company.
Work with cross-divisional teams to build consensus on strategic objectives and goals.
Ensure business is audit compliant and achieves acceptable scores if inspected by industry’s regulatory authorities.
Ensure operations team achieves production and distribution goals.
Establish and implement operational policies, standards and procedures for staff.
Ensures compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures within company facilities.
Communicates, works closely and successfully collaborates with other Globus Distribution staff to achieve the organization's goals.
Assist with Human Resources functions:
Interview, recruit and hire to fill gaps in open positions in a timely manner based on company growth needs.
Train staff in expected operational standards using appropriate tools such as SOP's, compliance audits, company employee manual and policy and procedures.
Set up training calendar and ensure associate onboarding and new hire training is complete.
Write and deliver on team members' performance in partnership with President to determine succession plans and build bench strength.
Performance manage and coach team members on poor performance and violation of company and compliance policies.
Provide leadership, training, guidance and support to team members that fosters continuous learning and improvement in performance of the organization.
Oversee the day to day operations of a licensed cannabis facility
Manage all inventory and logistics
Oversee distribution and manufacturing space
Implement and utilize METRC seed to sale tracking system
Implement a new ERP system when needed

Undergraduate degree in related field of studies
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management or related roles
Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Experience with significant PL responsibility
Strong knowledge of operations, management, sales, and distribution technology platforms and systems
Must possess strong analytical skills to assess data, facts and figures used to develop strategies designed to improve the business
Extreme attention to detail
Strategic thinking and logic
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in operations management or related field
Company Management experience.
Knowledge of marijuana and marijuana industry, flower and vape products, edibles, extracts, and current products on the market in Oklahoma a huge plus.
Distribution-related experience in cannabis, alcohol, or another consumer packaged goods category a plus.
Provide exemplary customer service and represent the business with pride.
Experience using METRC and other track and trace software systems
ERP implementation experience
Knowledge of Oklahoma cannabis laws and regulations
Experience in a commercially licensed cannabis distribution facility
Cannabis manufacturing/production experience
Strong leadership and managerial skills
Ability to multi-task and wear multiple hats
This job operates in a professional office, distribution, and warehouse setting. This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires a flex schedule and occasional long hours and weekend work.
