The incumbent leads a team of HR Managers across the country, and provides support to the team to ensure HR operations are handled appropriately and timely.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Provides strategic organizational support to ensure departmental structures, talent processes and organizational culture enable actionable and successful execution of the PharmaCann strategy and key objectives.
Works with leaders to develop, align and increase organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement.
Identifies, manages and responds to complex employee issues by coaching HR managers, management and employees. Provides expert level coaching and guidance on problem resolution, aligned with legal and organizational policies and regulations to support a productive work environment.
Demonstrates a high level of integrity and can gain the trust of multiple stakeholders and interact successfully with all employees, including senior leadership.
Serves as a subject matter expert and escalation point on policy, employment laws & regulations, and is a trusted advisor to leaders and colleagues on workplace concerns.
Partners with internal customers and HR team to develop/execute programs/processes that build organizational capability to meet business challenges, and supports the continual evolution of the Company.
Reviews existing policies and procedures and initiates changes as necessary to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, corporate policies, and business objectives to enable a scalable infrastructure.
In partnership with Talent Management, analyze engagement and learning initiatives to develop and implement plans, programs, and methodologies to create a strong culture of high employee engagement, performance, and retention.
Actively manages a team of HR professionals with responsibility for workplace effectiveness while maintaining oversight and providing coaching and feedback on best practices.
Ensures accurate documentation thorough, impartial investigations of employee relations matters of all types and recommend appropriate courses of action to HR Managers and management teams, while identifying risk and developing mitigation strategies.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with leaders, HRBPs and employees
Oversees collective bargaining agreements, ensures workforce policies are in alignment and serves as an escalation point for grievances.
Leads HR support for mergers/acquisitions as required.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
Minimum of 10 years’ broad-based work experience as a generalist
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all human resources functions; employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits, training, staffing/recruiting, organization development, acquisition/integration with solid working knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations
Strong leadership, business acumen, customer focus and influencing skills
Effectively anticipates outcomes and broad impact of decisions.
Union experience strongly preferred
Must be detail oriented and able to work on multiple projects and embrace changing priorities.
Strategic thinking skills coupled with strong hands on ability to execute
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, counseling and conflict resolution skills
Able to establish and maintain strong relationships and credibility quickly
Proficient computer skills, G-Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Some travel will be required.
