Position Overview

The Human Resources Manager reports to the owners Operations Director. In your role, you be an onsite acting manager, ensuring the safety of our team and directly involved with core team decision making.


Work with leadership to provide a broad range of HR support actions for achieving business objectives including:

  • Drive a culture of growth and positive employee relations
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization at all levels (e.g., evaluation of cost, clarifying roles and responsibilities, organization design, etc.)
  • Coaching managers and teams on how to improve effectiveness and communication
  • Safety-Help coordinate safety training and activities as necessary.
  • Become well versed in cannabis industry compliance as well as the Biotrack seed-to-sale system.
  • Keep inventory, working with the ordering manager to ensure stock of required PPE, uniforms and any gear our employees need to perform their jobs.
  • Conduct New Hire orientations and facilitate onboarding process
  • Terminations and off-boarding support
  • Be the main point of contact for time clock and payroll audits and follow-up items.
  • Coordinate and manage employee events.
  • Engage with employees on resolution of issues, ensuring fairness, and consistency of practice, alignment with company policies and procedures, and adherence to all relevant laws.
  • Maintain, update, and ensure integrity of employee/employment data.
  • Respond to employee and management inquiries about policies, procedures, benefits, and compensation for assigned facilities.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
  • Prior experience in manufacturing environment


  • Ability to facilitate organizational change
  • Demonstrated capability to communicate (written and verbal) and work effectively at all levels of the organization inspiring respect and credibility
  • Strong data analytical skills and process orientation along with proficiency in MS Office software including solid experience working with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $28,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
