Provide accurate, relevant, and timely advice to staff on a variety of legal topics that relate to company business and/or products
Draft, review and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements
Manage and mitigate legal risk by redesigning company policy and procedures
Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business
Promote legal, compliance and risk management best practices throughout the organization
Communicate with and manage any third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors
Remain up to date with change in legislation that may directly affect the business
Liaison with Executive Team
Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in a similar role
Sound understanding of commercial and corporate law
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent negotiating and drafting skills
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the organization
Ability to communicate complex legal issues and risks in terms non-legal colleagues can understand
Ability to work in a highly autonomous role
