What you'll dive into
Partner with business colleagues to define and document critical business processes and requirements
Define and document requirements for metrics, KPIs, and operational reporting
Define and document requirements for data flow, data exchange, and data storage
Collaborate with business colleagues to understand, document and prioritize requests, managing them through the IT governance process
Project manage technology implementations, including coordination and management of external vendors and ensuring adherence to GxP SOPs
Oversee application lifecycles for Quality and Tech Ops systems in use (change control, testing, validation, and communication)
Work with Quality and Tech Ops colleagues to analyze technology and process challenges and propose solutions
Align with colleagues to create business cases for technology solutions
Create and update technology roadmaps, aligning technology path with business drivers and timing
Create strong relationships and trust with business colleagues
What we expect
Degree in information systems or an equivalent combination of relevant education and job experience
10 or more years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on quality systems and processes and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing systems and processes
Experience implementing systems following GxP processes and computer system validation
Prior experience as a strategic IT partner to a business organization—preferably Quality or Tech Ops
Solid skills defining and documenting business processes and requirements
Prior experience with Quality Management Systems, EDMS, LMS, serialization, drug product inventory management
Experience with Veeva Vault for quality processes a plus
Strong skills and experience project managing implementations of packaged applications using a system development life cycle (SDLC)
Demonstrated experience documenting requirements for data exchange and managing the implementation of data flow between systems and into data warehouses
Adept at driving business-focused conversations regarding metrics, capabilities, and opportunities for innovation
Highly skilled at building effective business relationships
Great communication skills
Skills and experience writing SOPs
Ability to travel periodically (<5%)
