MBA preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field required plus 10+ years of management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The COO is responsible for overseeing PharmaCann’s operations to develop and deliver high quality products and ensure the business operations are lean, efficient, effective, and systematic. In the ever-changing climate of the Cannabis industry, the COO will establish standards and procedures while remaining agile to changing regulations and product demands. In addition, this role will require a strong, collaborative leader with the ability to lead a high-functioning team, driving results and ensuring both quality and volume demands are satisfied. The COO will provide leadership, management, and vision to ensure that PharmaCann has the proper operational controls and administrative and reporting procedures in place to execute and effectively grow the organization. This role provides operational advice and recommendations to the CEO to implement operational efficiencies and maximize profitability while meeting the strategic objectives of the company.

Accountable for the operational budgets and measurement and effectiveness of all operational processes - internal and external.
Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the Company.
Leads the development, communication, and implementation of effective operational strategies and processes by setting comprehensive and clear performance goals that support the company’s strategic plans.
Oversees supply chain and demand planning. Reviews inventory for both manufactured and 3rd party products and sets expectations for planning and utilization.
Reviews systems and processes for automation. Makes recommendations on automated process improvements and capital expenditures to increase sales, efficiency, and production.
Executes processes and key performance indicators to measure effectiveness and drive cost efficiencies.
Designs and implements business strategies, plans and procedures that promote collaboration and a positive culture and vision for the organization.
Provides strategic input to evaluate potential alliances, acquisitions and mergers, and new lines of service.
