Reporting to the Head of Mainstream/Value Flower, the Global Category Manager, Value Flower will ensure achievement of value flower financial objectives by leading product portfolio strategy including whitespace analysis, product development strategy, and overall P&L management.
Establish focused product portfolio strategy within Value Flower to optimize product mix within the category to meet consumer needs, win in priority markets, and aligned with pricing segments
Support integration of robust insights and processes to define products that drive category growth, and initiate product development needs (when to produce products) for the category while working closely with Insights and Geographies
Lead sub-category P&L driven decisions to optimize performance including design to value and input in pricing structure
Develop winning products and value propositions for the category that achieve a minimum of top 3 market position in the priority markets and work within the brand architecture to create recognizable brands (grow brand awareness)
Work with the Commercial Team to gather input on products to support growth in priority markets and go-to-market plans
Leads ongoing analysis of industry, competitive, and consumer trends and activities, as well as SWOT, assortment, and category reviews
Initiates, project manages and collaborates with various cross-functional departments such as Insights, Innovation, Operations, Strategy, Sales, and Supply Chain
Creates and presents Executive presentations for strategic projects in a logical and well thought-out manner
Owns brand guidelines and standards within segment for defined brands
Serve as a cross-functional leader within the Product team and matrix structure to enable efficient and effective collaboration
Measuring and reporting on global business performance

University degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
5-7 years of work experience in CPG, Retail, or related field
Strong business acumen with a high sense of curiosity and intentionality
High analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills
Experience managing P&Ls, including COGS and margin analysis
Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate and influence effectively with multiple levels of a matrixed cross-functional organization
Highly organized, high attention to detail, and motivated with a desire to outperform
You’re resilient and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment working on multiple and competing projects simultaneously, with a sense of urgency and thoughtfulness
You have strong critical-thinking and conceptual problem-solving skills. You are able to debate complex issues, ask the right questions, interpret data and synthesize learnings and think outside the box
Proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation software (Office or G-suite preferred)
