The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the coordination of all project aspects including timelines, budgets, and scope. S/he will promote and ensure cross-functional coordination of all project management activities and foresee key interdependencies and partner with Global Product Leaders.



  • Provide tactical and operational leadership project development teams.
  • Lead and support the definition, creation, documentation and maintenance of Project Management standards & processes
  • Promote the use of best practices with the PMO
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of systems/databases for the purpose of tracking, reporting and improving decisions regarding project performance, interfacing closely with the corporate IS ecosystem
  • Ensure consistent application and knowledge of project management methodologies, processes and tools across the function
  • Promote cross-functional transformation across product teams
  • Act as the single source of truth for all project management activities


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or a business-related field is required; Advanced degree in science or a business-related field is preferred
  • Professional certification with a Project Management Institute (PMI) is desired
  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences
  • 6+ years of recent experience as a project manager leading complex pharmaceutical projects in a multi-disciplinary, global environment is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely communicate orally and written, and present key information to senior leadership
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Able to develop strong partnerships and successfully operate in a matrix-based organization while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders
