Position: Works closely with the Cultivation Manager to ensure that the Harvest Department is producing the highest quality trimmed flower. Responsible for logistical oversight of all Harvest operations. The Assistant Cultivation Manager, Harvest provides leadership, supervision, and guidance to the entire department.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow NETA Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations
Maintains Harvest operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures as related to the Harvest/Trim/Curing process
Works closely with Cultivation Manager to continuously develop, maintain, and enforce holistic harvest, cure, and trim program to ensure quality and production throughput metrics are achieved
Standardizes processes and proper harvest, cure, and trim techniques
Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of consistent drying and curing metrics
Sets the standard for sanitation and cleanliness for each department and holds positions of authority accountable for overseeing their execution and accuracy
Conducts all internal and external interviews for on-boarding new hires. Responsible for all aspects of departmental training, including initiating, updating, and scheduling; works directly with and through Training Ambassadors
Produce a thorough Harvest Schedule, in coordination with Flower Supervisor, Harvest Supervisor (Cure/Harvest), and Assistant Cultivation Manager (Cultivation), to harvest plants at their peak quality; delegates tasks to Harvest employees and oversees their execution and accuracy
Make sure that Trim Teams are managing flower consistently and utilizing NETA methods
Ensures Trim Technicians work in a timely manner and consistently strive to increase productivity
Responsible for the Cure Room environmental controls
Ensure implementation and effectiveness of all systems and routines throughout the drying and curing process
Accurate data input, management, and reporting in Seed-to-Sale software
Responsible for accurately reporting and ensuring proper recording of all trim weights and batch locations
Liaise with Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, and Retail Operations to ensure needs are met
Responsible for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly projections based on flower input, batch averages, and throughput
Demonstrates and promotes accuracy and thoroughness in order to improve and promote quality
Works directly with third party consultants to provide optimal solutions
Demonstrates Leadership by actions and acts as an example to others at all times
Manages day to day issues as they arise, requesting assistance as needed
Inspires Management Team and keeps them engaged and enthusiastic about the harvest process
Maintains time and attendance and all other conduct related requirements at all times
Works closely with R&D Team to assist with executing any projects that relate to all cultivation improvements
Responds to facility related failures promptly while maintaining preventative tasks in accordance with facility needs
Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualificationsand Skills:
Age 21 or over (Required)
High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
Valid Driver's License and/or Government Issued Photo ID (Required)
Additional degree or 5 years related experience (Strongly Preferred)
Supervisor experience (Required)
After hours on-call availability (Required)
Expert knowledge of cannabis cultivation and genetics
Expert knowledge of plant pests and pathogens
Upbeat and high energy professional, very organized and detail oriented
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
Passionate about the importance of medical marijuana
Physical capability: Indoor growing environment. Requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, and consistent attention to detail for 10 hours per day. Must be able to bend, lift and stoop continuously. Ability to lift 60 lbs. unassisted and up to 80 lbs. assisted.
