We are building a national brand of cannabis flower with an existing strong operational structured, backed with strong capital and management. The ideal candidate has a history of quota driven sales success, a strategic mindset to draft and implement best practices within the industry and aware of the cannabis market status and trends. Our team is composed of strong performers who are motivated to build business relationships, elevate the brand and have a passion for cannabis and social change. You must be a self-starting sales professional who can lead and manage an aggressive sales pipeline.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Develop an annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectivesEstablish sales objectives, forecast and develop annual sales quotas for regions and territoriesEstablish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating proceduresProject sales volume and profit for existing and new productsMaintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitorsProvide strategic insight and guidance to leadershipRecommend sales strategies for improvement based on experience, market research and competitor analysisConsistently establish new product distribution channels to increase product salesBuild, develop and manage sales team capable of carrying out superior sales and service initiativesImplement and execute sales policies and practicesDevelop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodologyAnalyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and resultsDevelop and manage sales budgets and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgetsDirectly manage major and critical developing client accountsPromote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributorsBecome an expert in all aspects of the industry; gain a solid understanding of competition and anticipate market trends that drive proactive business decisionsPreferred Skills and Requirements:10+ years of sales management experience; a proven track record leading successful sales teamsBachelor’s in Sales, Marketing or BusinessExperience selling a premium consumer brand; wine, spirits, pharma, or cannabisProven track record defining and executing a sales and expansion strategyProven ability to set budgets, manage expenses and forecast accuratelySelf-driven starter with a high sense of urgency and attention to detailAbility to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframesKeen market knowledge of compliance and regulation and political climatesExceptional written communication, verbal communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Microsoft Suite skillsAbility to travel on a regular basis including overnight and some weekend travelMust be 21 years of age or older to applyMust comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industryNOTE: Candidates that are offered a position are required to pass pre-employment drug and background screening.
