The successful candidate will most likely have experience selling label and packaging products into the desired channels, preferably food, adult beverage, pharmaceutical and other products. They will understand the complex supply chain dynamics of these channels.
Responsibilities:
Aligns the sales organization’s objectives with All American’s business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning and sales strategy
Responsible for effective sales organization design, including definition or roles and responsibilities, channel strategy, resource deployment

VP Sales would be a member of the senior executive team
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth, market share, other KPI’s
Leads training and development initiatives that ensure high level of professionalism and competence throughout sales team
Establishes and implements sales team performance management system including specific targets, activities, and KPI’s for each sales team member
Provides leadership to sales team, fostering culture of customer responsiveness, teamwork, performance, accountability, and ethical standards
Ensure close alignment between customer needs and driving company priorities in partnership with Director of Marketing and New Product Development
Work closely with Sales, Inventory, and Operations planning (“SIOP”) leader to ensure accurate demand planning and inventory optimization
Accountable for recommending investment areas for growth, ensuring budgets are met while monitoring ROI
Establishes and ensures high level of communication internally regarding sales performance, profitability, marketplace dynamics impacting long term direction.
Develops and fosters senior level relationships with top customers
It is expected that this position would require a substantial amount of travel

Desired Experience:
15+ years’ sales and/or marketing experience in a progressively management capacity, at least 5 in sales leadership role in the Label and Packaging space
Has worked in business requiring close collaboration and leadership with marketing
Recruiting, organizational design and structuring salesforce
Building strategic plans in complex businesses with multi-faceted channel structures
Building a strong value proposition and development of strategic partnerships versus transactional business relationships
Align senior sales team with large customers
Strong analytical/process orientation
Experience in a Private Equity environment a plus
Experience in contributing to overall corporate direction and strategies
Experience and existing relationships with-in key targeted channels would be a plus
Experience with add-on acquisitions and integrating new locations is a plus
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred. MBA a plus.
