WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Culta's HR DIRECTOR in Cambridge, MD, you will be an integral, valued member of the Leadership Team and the dynamic lead of a bustling on site HR Team. This is a hands-on, employee-facing role that will help drive HR operational excellence and ongoing Talent transformation initiatives, with a focus on positive organizational outcomes and overall employee engagement. Experience and success in a start-up or high growth company is an absolute must as you will be responsible for developing and maintaining HR infrastructure that supports rapid company growth and scalability.
Strategic responsibilities include leading talent acquisition efforts, fostering employee-driven HR initiatives, change leadership, implementing & executing on talent management programs, talent development, strategic performance management, and HR metric development.
Operational responsibilities include employee relations, building HR processes, system management & optimization, policy development and documentation, benefits, workforce planning, mandatory training programs, conflict resolution, and compliance with changing workforce regulations.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree, and 9+ years of experience within Human Resources, with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership
MBA or Master's Degree is a plus, as is HR certification (SPHR/SHRM-SCP)
High professional standards and a strong customer experience mentality with an energetic, positive attitude that can quickly build partnerships, relationships, and trust
Strong sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to deliver results with a wide degree of judgment, creativity, and latitude expected
Track record of success in tackling unfamiliar tasks and situations; a resourceful self-starter
Excellent priority setting and project/time management skills with the flexibility and demonstrated ability to respond to shifting business needs
Savvy with technology; ability to analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data
