We recently launched our first foray into DTC with shop.kivaconfections.com. The program is off to a great start and we are now looking for an experienced professional to manage and grow this strategically important initiative. This will be a core responsibility of the person in this role.
The world of cannabis is always changing, this is especially true in regards to how brands and products live and operate in digital ecosystems so the responsibilities in this role will also change and grow based on business needs, priorities, and evolving access to new and traditional online platforms. As the Kiva eCommerce Manager, you will…
Management of the entire Kiva digital ecosystem including website, eCommerce, email, CRM, and third party marketing platforms
Develop and manage the growth strategy for Kiva’s direct to consumer eCommerce portal
Day-to-day management of eCommerce site operations including, but not limited to content updates, promotion execution, and product updates and launches.
Day-to-day management, optimization, and reporting of the main Kiva site kivaconfections.com
Develop and execute Kiva’s e-mail marketing strategy including leading RFP to identify which platform to use, how to segment and grow the database, and how/when to engage each segment
Working closely with Kiva’s internal creative team to ensure email marketing campaigns are optimized to increase engagement metrics
Test and learn multiple digital marketing tactics that lead to a handful of efficient tactics we support with additional budget
Create and tracking major digital metrics and KPI’s, building reports to give cross functional and senior management visibility into digital performance and regularly express insights and optimizations to stakeholders
What we are looking for...
Candidates should be proficient in a wide variety of digital marketing tools, with competencies including, but not limited to: Google Analytics & Reporting, A/B testing & Optimization, Email Marketing, SEO, and Content Strategy. You will be active in website maintenance and optimization, and you will manage the customer database and reporting.
3+ years of relevant eCommerce-focused platform management and digital marketing experience
2+ years of email marketing or relevant experience
Strong knowledge of website analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Previous cannabis experience a plus, but not required
Ability to multitask and handle problem resolution, comfortable working under pressure to meet established deadlines
Strong personal skills including managing people and building relationships
Must be detail oriented, self-starter and comfortable taking initiative, as well as capable of producing high quality results on a sustainable basis
Hands-on approach to business. Very flexible and not reluctant to “roll up their sleeves” and get involved in all aspects of the business.
