As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for providing guidance, training, and mentorship, setting sales quotas and goals, creating sales plans, meeting and exceeding sales goals, driving business development efforts maximizing sales and market penetration while analyzing data and identifying trends. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a Sales team.


Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage Key Accounts within the region
  • Manage regional sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls
  • Meets and exceeds monthly sales quota
  • Setting individual market sales targets with Sales team
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary
  • Oversee the activities and performance of the Sales team
  • Support ongoing training and development of your salespeople
  • Call on prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer/supplier relationship
  • Assist with contract negotiations
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring
  • Coordinates and assists in leading sales meetings to include site selection and agenda preparation
  • Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers
  • Ensures Account Receivables are at acceptable levels for region
  • Working with multiple departments; finance, marketing, production, and inventory on a daily basis ensuring proper planning and execution


Marketing Events

  • Attending events, partnerships and promotional opportunities
  • Educating customers and consumers about the brand along with new and existing products
  • Assists with the planning of sales exhibits
  • Participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs


Sales Data Analysis

  • Analyze product and sales data monthly to find opportunities for growth while also following market trends
  • Communicate, needs, trends, etc. to VP of Sales


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • 5 Direct Reports
  • Up to 21 Dotted Line Reports



  • Education: Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License (required)
  • Ability to pass a driving background check
  • Must complete Live Scan
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated and results driven
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies, customer relationship management, managing and directing high performing sales teams
  • Possess high attention to detail, prioritization, time management and organizational skills with a positive, goal oriented attitude
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Problem solver that thrives under pressure in a fast pace environment
  • Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

  • State law requires that employees be 21 years old or older

As an exempt employee, you'll receive a salary plus commission, PTO, Paid Holidays and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.


This role can be based in other key geographies within NorCal as it will involve frequent travel throughout the region, i.e. Sacramento, CA.
