Curaleaf is headquartered in Wakefield, Massachusetts (10 miles from Boston). This position can be based at HQ or out of the Greater New York City area (preferred). While the company is currently conducting IR activities on a virtual basis, eventually travel will be required (domestic and global).
The Director of Investor Relations will assist the Head of Investor Relations with developing and executing Curaleaf's investor relations strategy, which includes identifying and targeting key investor groups both in the U.S. and globally, helping to communicate the company's strategy, growth opportunities, regulatory framework, business initiatives, and financial performance with the goal of building a blue chip shareholder base.
The Director of Investor Relations will lead in developing and maintaining a close relationship with existing and potential sell side analysts, and in expanding sell side coverage. Also, the Director of Investor Relations will be responsible for supporting the Head of Investor Relations and the Chief Financial Officer with quarterly earnings releases and with preparation of all related support material, as well as with other internal projects.
Responsible for being the primary point of contact with the sell side, auditing of sell side models, review and analysis of sell side reports on the company and its peers, and expansion of sell side
Conduct a comprehensive review of peers' quarterly results and keep close track of the competitive
Assist the Head of Investor Relations in a proactive and extensive outreach campaign with the investment community and keep close track of changes in shareholding positions within Curaleaf and its
Assist in the preparation of quarterly board presentation materials, earnings releases, conference call scripts, Q&A, and quarterly earnings
Assist in the preparation of all investor materials, including investor presentations and investor relations web
Support Legal and Finance with regulatory filings, maintain the Investor Relations budget, and assist in developing an Investor Relations operating manual of policies and procedures.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of professional experience, with relevant experience in Investor
Financial and investment analysis capabilities, including clear and thorough understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques used by investment
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong skills in developing presentation
Solid interpersonal skills to develop relationships across the organization and with the investment
Ability to challenge the status quo and regularly think of ways to do things differently, more efficiently and with greater productivity
Excellent research abilities, outstanding attention to detail, and efficient time management
Ability to travel
